Though he was 5th on the day, Niels Albert (BKCP-Powerplus) did enough to win the 2013 UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup overall title at Hoogerheide, Netherlands on Sunday. 

The slick, snowy course proved to be a challenge with many riders crashing during the race.

Simon Zahner (EKZ) claimed his first cyclo-cross podium result by holding of a late charge from Sven Nys.
