Garmin-Cervélo has won Stage 2 of the 2011 Tour de France - the team time trial. The squad completed the 23 km in a time of 24:48.10, setting a record speed and besting BMC Racing Team by a mere 4 seconds.

World Champion Thor Hushovd will take the start line on Monday in the leader's Yellow Jersey.
