Test Machine

SwissStop strives to address the brake pad needs of all cyclists.

SwissStop's research laboratory has developed a completely new machine which is capable of testing all types of rim brake pads and disc brake systems. This is the third generation of SwissStop's in house test equipment and it provides new details on braking behaviour, including constant dynamic monitoring and velocity up to 60 km/h without slippage. It is possible to simulate all practical and meteorological conditions.

The machine can test all types of rims and built wheels, including disc brakes. Interchangeable brake calipers, machine actuated through regular brake levers allow realistic simulation of the complete system.
