7.1. Data Collected

The SwissStop website collects only the data necessary via:

  • a contact form;
  • an anti-spam protection device such as reCAPTCHA.

The data that may be collected includes:

  • Name (required);
  • Company (optional);
  • Country (required);
  • Email address (required);
  • Email address confirmation (required);
  • Message (required).

The use of the reCAPTCHA service is subject to the privacy policy and terms of use of the service provider.

7.2. Purpose of Processing

The data is used only to respond to requests and to contact the person if necessary.

The data collected via the contact form is used solely in order to:

  • respond to requests sent by users;
  • contact the person who submitted the form again, if necessary.

The data is not used for unsolicited commercial purposes, mass marketing or resale.

7.3. Data Retention

Personal data is not retained beyond the time necessary to process the request. Once the exchange is completed, the information is deleted.

In the event of a dispute, and subject to mandatory legal provisions, the courts at the publisher’s registered office shall have jurisdiction.

10. SwissStop Product Warranty

These provisions apply to SwissStop products marketed in Europe.

Independently of the statutory warranty rights available to the customer against the seller, Borflex Rex SA grants a commercial warranty of 2 years (24 months) from the date of purchase on SwissStop products.

10.1. Warranty Exclusions

No warranty service may be claimed, in particular, in the following cases:

  • normal wear and tear of consumable parts;
  • incorrect installation or use with incompatible products;
  • improper maintenance, non-compliant repair or modification of the product;
  • misuse, negligent handling, abuse, commercial use or participation in competitions;
  • damage occurring during transport or delivery;
  • modification, deletion or alteration of the serial number.
10.2. Limitation of Liability

The warranty does not give rise to any compensation for indirect, consequential or non-material damage. Mandatory statutory liability provisions remain reserved.

In the event of warranty service, the customer is invited to contact the point of sale where the product was purchased. Where applicable, the latter may contact the SwissStop brand.

Technical modifications may be made without prior notice.
